Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly to us when you create an account, request access, or contact us. This includes your name, email address, company name, and job title.

When you connect ServerConfigs to your infrastructure, we access the live state of your connected systems (AWS, GCP, Azure, Kubernetes, etc.) to answer your queries. We do not store infrastructure state beyond your active session unless you explicitly enable Workspace Memory.

We also collect usage data including query logs, response times, and feature usage to improve the product.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to: - Provide, maintain, and improve the ServerConfigs service - Respond to your queries and support requests - Send you technical notices, security alerts, and administrative messages - Analyse usage patterns to improve the product - Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information or your infrastructure data to any third party.

Infrastructure data

When you connect your cloud accounts, Kubernetes clusters, or other infrastructure sources, ServerConfigs reads live state via your authorised credentials. This data is:

- Processed in-memory to answer your query - Not stored to disk beyond session cache by default - Never used to train machine learning models without your explicit consent - Encrypted in transit using TLS 1.3

If you enable Workspace Memory, contextual snapshots are stored encrypted at rest with AES-256.

Data sharing

We share your information only in the following circumstances:

- With service providers who process data on our behalf (cloud infrastructure, analytics), all bound by data processing agreements - If required by law, subpoena, or other legal process - To protect the rights, property, or safety of ServerConfigs, our customers, or the public - In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets — you will be notified

We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers.

Data retention

Account data is retained for the duration of your subscription and deleted within 30 days of account closure. Query logs are retained for 90 days by default. Infrastructure state snapshots (if Workspace Memory is enabled) are retained until you delete them or close your account.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to: - Access a copy of your personal data - Correct inaccurate personal data - Request deletion of your personal data - Object to or restrict processing - Data portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format - Lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority

Cookies

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or via a notice in the product. Your continued use of ServerConfigs after a change constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
