About

Built by engineers.
For engineers.

ServerConfigs started as a personal project — a way to stop asking "which team owns that S3 bucket?" and "what changed before the incident?" for the hundredth time. It turned out the problem was universal.

The problem
we lived through.

The average engineering team runs nine separate monitoring and observability tools. None of them talk to each other. An alert fires in PagerDuty, you pivot to Datadog, cross-reference Terraform state, check the Helm release notes, and dig through CloudWatch — all while the clock is running.

We built ServerConfigs because the knowledge already exists in your systems. It just isn't connected. One agent with read access to your full stack changes the economics of every incident, every cost review, and every compliance audit.

We're a small team of infrastructure engineers, product designers, and ML researchers working to make that a reality. We're backed by engineers who've built and scaled infrastructure at AWS, Datadog, HashiCorp, and Stripe.

What we believe

01

Infra is a first-class product.

We believe infrastructure should be as well-understood as the applications that run on it. That means readable state, queryable knowledge, and decisions grounded in live data.

02

Specificity over summaries.

Generic answers are useless in an incident. ServerConfigs always responds with the exact resource, the exact change, the exact cost — not a documentation link.

03

The agent should earn trust.

We show our work. Every answer links to the source — the Terraform file, the CloudWatch metric, the Helm release — so engineers can verify before acting.
